Details
Concrete blocks were placed along the East Lothian coast during World War II as a protection against invasion by beach landings. This photograph shows some being removed in October 1963 to improve the amenity of the coast for holiday visitors.
This is a 35 mm colour transparency in a card mount. The view shows Aberlady Bay when old concrete coastal defense blocks were being cleared.
