This is a small medal, won by Whittinghame Bowling Club in a competition against Tyninghame Bowling Club in 1883. The box is either snakeskin or replica snakeskin.

This is the third of four medals (or jewels as they are known) awarded to members of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB).

This jewel was issued to Bro. F. M. Gordon of Unitas Lodge. It marks the centenary of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes from 1866 to 1966.
